Ways to use a VA?

I have listed some examples of the way a VA may be able to assist you. Contact The Assistant Advantage and we can discuss the many ways we can help you!

Advertising/Marketing
• You want to send out and/or create marketing materials such as advertisements and/or coupons. I can design and send out the information you require such as a brochure, postcard, or flyer to name a few.

• You want to increase your advertising with targeted marketing. I help you implement a marketing plan, submit ads by deadlines, track expiration dates, and do mailings to potential clients.

• You want to promote your business or industry online. I can write articles and submit them on your behalf to electronic newsletters and local papers.

Backup/Support
• A virtual assistant can work on projects that your regular assistant or secretary doesn’t have time to complete.

•I can take the extra workload at peak times, working after hours to enable deadlines to be met.

• You are going on vacation and need someone to answer your emails and voice mail.

Customer Satisfaction
• You want to determine customer satisfaction. I can create a customer questionnaire, mail to customers, receive the completed questionnaire, summarize the information and issue you a report.

Desktop Publishing
• If you need forms and/or documents with your company logo I can assist you in designing forms that can be completed online and/or mailed.

Equipment Support
• You need to purchase new software or equipment. I research makes, models and versions in-person and online. I gather pricing and other applicable information and report

my findings to you.

Event Planning
• I can assist you in planning an event such as a training class, reunion and/or holiday party. I have experience and can help you coordinate the event, send out invitations, create a mailing list, a newsletter or a PowerPoint Presentation.

Invoicing/Collections
• You want to outsource your invoicing. You submit billing information to me and I send out the invoices, collect payments and deposit all payments to your bank account.

Records
• You have business meetings, trainings and/or conference calls and want the information in hardcopy. You record the meeting either digitally or with a tape recorder and I pick up the tape (locally) or you email me the digital file and I type it up.

Training
• You need to prepare or update a policy and procedure manual. Notes can be faxed or emailed to the VA. The VA will send you a finished manual via email or mail a disk or hard copy.
